Standard: Translates words to numerals and numerals to words (0 to 20).


Procedures/Activities


Step:  1 Duration: 10 min.
Discuss with students the different types of workers in their school and community. Help students name the different types of workers and what they do.

Step:  2 Duration: 10 min.
Discuss with student how workers have to work together on some jobs and that it takes more than one person to do many jobs. Allow students to describe workers who work together in the school and community.

Step:  3 Duration: 5 min.
Tell students they will complete a worksheet matching the number words for the workers with the correct numerals.

Step:  4 Duration: 10 min.
Distribute the "Working Together" worksheet for students to complete.
